Logitech has long been a leader in wireless computer accessories, but the company’s latest entry into the wireless keyboard and mouse space might just be its best yet.
The Logitech Wireless Keyboard and Mouse Combo offers some of the most responsive performance on the market, and even features an optional adjustable center wrist rest to help you keep your wrists comfortable as you work or play longer into the night.
Let’s take a closer look at how it compares to other models available today.
Product Overview
Logitech is a leading manufacturer of peripherals for personal computers. This review discusses two of their products: The Logitech Wireless Mouse M325 and Logitech Wireless Combo MK270.
Both devices are primarily designed for use with desktop computers; however, both can also be used on laptops or any other computer with Bluetooth technology.
For its Wireless Combo, Logitech has decided to include 2 pieces: A wireless keyboard, which allows users to type text or documents from almost anywhere in their room or office, as well as a wireless mouse.
The mouse can also be used in conjunction with keyboards that are designed for such devices (referred to as Bluetooth keypads) . . .
Overall Summary
In short, Logitech's Wireless keyboard/mouse combo for Windows works. But that doesn't mean it isn't without its problems. If you want a solid wireless keyboard/mouse setup that can work with just about any Windows computer, then you should definitely consider Logitech's Wireless Combo MK270.
Is it a good product?
You may be familiar with Logitech if you’ve ever used a wireless mouse or keyboard; they’re one of biggest computer accessory companies in all of existence.
Like every other wireless product on Amazon, their wireless combo is 100% compatible with Microsoft Windows 10. I did have an issue with my Wireless Keyboard and it was replaced without any hesitation from Logitech who also backed up their product with a 1-year limited warranty.
It’s not very often that I find such a well built wireless combo. A lot of them tend to fail after just a few months but Logitech has some of the best quality electronics that money can buy. The only complaint I have about their Wireless Combo Pack is that there aren’t many color options to choose from (black).
If they offered more color options, then it would definitely give me more reason to buy another Wireless Combo Pack! That said, I think $53-$56 dollars for both products isn't exactly bad especially when you consider that most wireless devices are at least $50-$60 dollars each! So if you want to make your work space less cluttered with wires, grab yourself these wireless products today!
Best Features
I was pretty impressed with all of Logitech’s features. The keyboard has a comfortable click sound when you type, even for extended periods of time.
I love that it includes a rechargeable lithium-ion battery that lasts for up to six months on a single charge (as opposed to AA batteries). And if you prefer not to use wireless technology, there’s an option for USB compatibility—although I had no issues with my wireless connection during testing.
It also comes with a great wireless mouse that uses blue tracking lights so you can track your movements as well as three buttons (right/left clicks and scroll wheel) for easy navigation.
No matter what your needs are, whether it be professional or personal computing, Logitech does an excellent job in supplying consumers with everything they need under one roof.
Best Uses
The Logitech Wireless Combo mouse is designed for use on a table, so it’s great if you want to sit back in your armchair while browsing. The wireless mouse has some impressive range – at least 30 feet. Logitech has improved battery life too: by using AAA batteries instead of AA, we found that we could go up to six months without needing to replace them! It uses tiny nano-rechargeable batteries which are more expensive but allow for greater power efficiency.
Once these wear out though, replacements can be bought cheaply from an office supplies store or Amazon. On top of all that, it comes with three programmable buttons; scroll wheel zoom; hyper-fast scrolling and precise optical tracking for smooth movement (up to 4x faster than standard mice).
This is particularly helpful if you spend long periods at a computer desk. However, some users have complained about getting eye strain as they find they need to press down hard on their eyes while working or gaming on computers or laptops.
Bottom Line
Overall, I was impressed with both of these products. The mouse is sleek looking and easy to use, but most of all it’s very comfortable to hold. I would highly recommend it.
The keyboard is a bit more traditional in design, which is what I prefer (I don’t like those fancy flat keyboards), but even as someone who types all day every day on a computer, my hands did not get tired at all using it. Again,
I highly recommend both products for anyone who spends any significant amount of time typing or using a mouse. They do both jobs well and look great too!
